from august 6-14th, 2005, the canadian hungarian artists' collective organized the tantramar arts symposium - a wonderful week of worshops, shows and artists' talks. i was fortunate enough to take part in the offerings of anna torma, an amazing textile artist who lives nearby in baie verte.

reverse applique project started... will be unfinished for quite some time to come. it will be a flower encrusted portrait of my sweet little doggie in silks and linens.

felted project started - it's a fiber sandwich made from cheesecloth, wool, hemp, and fabric scraps. i'm thinking it needs some fancy needlework to dress it up a bit, and may not get around to it for a while.
