with the momentum from all the things i learned while making the pinocchio animations, i dove straight into starting a new project. sadly, halted due to spacial constraints. pinocchio is a harddrive hog. here's a goofy test just to see what it would look like. (if you checked out the goofy test... it has some hand processed super-8 with jim pretending to play my miniature monkey drum kit... pretty convincing perspective, eh? the drum kit would actually fit in the palm of his hand. the firey outdoors is some crappy video footage of a very late and fluffy april snowfall, recoloured, of course)

and this was kinda sorta a sight gag. it lasted all of an hour before it broke... i glued a hunk of glass from an old chandelier to a key ring. the smiles and giggles were worth it.

my new floor. i got a 49 cent wooden box from the sally anne, dissassembled it, and reassembled it as monkey flooring. swank.

my first flower of spring, and my first trophy flower ever. i'm excited about trophy bits now. i gave this one to my beloved for the inspiration and the parts.

i'd hardly call this project done. my original idea was to make one giant hairball, using all my shedded locks of brown and not stopping until the outside is all grey... and judging from the speed at which my hair is turning, this may take a while. this is a years' worth of my leavings, in two parts.

the last week of april i was out pruning the trees, and chopped up my apple branches, making a wee woodpile befitting a wee monkey.

it was a blearey eyed late winter morning after pulling one of many all-night editing stints. i guess i thought it was pretty enough to post, albeit a wee bit out of focus.

the animation studio. i keep my sets and props and lights handy to this room.

my brother made me this lampshade. and one night while my pal franny was-a-visitin', we got to decoratin' 'er with some quality street candy wrappers. the panels are removable, so it's not perma-craft.
